My Opinion on Changes in Hospitality and Tourism Management
With Respect to Ethics and Sustainable Development Consideration
Nowadays
with respect to ethics and sustainable development consideration is a good way to solve above all problems. Both ethics and sustainable development consideration is the important key to change hospitality and tourism management better.
Ethic is a tool to solve environmental problem and try to persuade tourists or the related people realize in environment for decreasing the current problems. If everyone concerns to take ethics for hospitality and tourism management, it can help to solve the problems by helping people to realize and be conscious for no destroy natural resource and helping to maintain long term tourism resource of the world.
Since there has changed in hospitality and tourism management, people who relate with it pay attention to conserve more in natural resources. For example, in the past, there were lots of national parks obtained with problem in trespass public land and forbidden ground of national park, but when there are changes in hospitality and tourism management with respect to ethics, everything is better because they understand and realize advantage in saving the resources, respect natural law, no selfish, and think of common interest more.
For sustainable development consideration that is a big change of hospitality and tourism management is great to protect natural resources. Sustainable development needs to pay attention in tourist management, touring activity, environment, tourist, community in tourist attraction. Using resource sustainable is the principle in hospitality and tourism management for pattern and tourism activity can sustain. The important thing is to be always tourists to travel.
Unless that, the tourist attraction still has traditional resource and identity.
When sustainable development consideration enters to be a change in hospitality and tourism management, it lets us know and be able to use existed resources sufficiently and use efficiently along with keeping up them to use for a long time. For example, tourism management on coral diving by sustainable development consideration, everyone should consider in the importance of coral by not preserve and destroy coral. If everyone holds to sustainable development consideration’s hospitality and tourism management principle by performing the natural law, any tourist attractions will be safe and able to remain with us forever.
In the other hand, if we do not look after about ethics and sustainable development consideration for hospitality and tourism management, we will face with problems such as decadent tourist attraction that is hard to restore, decreasing amount of both Thai and Foreign tourists, and leading to go down of tourism revenue.
For example, Koh Samed which is popular tourist attraction of Rayong province will be closed for adjustment for two months. It causes tourism’s income that is the main revenue of Koh Samed’s people decrease
In conclusion, changes in hospitality and tourism management with respect to ethics and sustainable development consideration, in my opinion, it is a great change that makes tourist attraction to be looked after extremely for solving the current problem that we are confronting, improving heritage of nature for existence, enhancing in conserved tourism, and it can help us to conserve value resource to be with us for always.
